Top 10 Moments - #4 Baseball Sweeps Captains

Coming in at #4 on the 2013-14 Apprentice School Top 10 Moments countdown is a pair of wins, in consecutive days, by the baseball team against inner-city rival Christopher Newport University.

On April 22, the Builders hosted the Captains at War Memorial Stadium and came away with a 9-4 win.  The Apprentice School used a five-run sixth inning highlighted by a pair of two-run hits from Brian Belvin and Javier Remigio to break open a close game.

The next day, at Captains Park, the Builders used a five-run fifth inning to help jump out to a 10-0 lead en route to a 15-3 win over CNU.  Lee Rossi smashed a two-run home run to propel the five-run inning.

The wins were the first over CNU since 2001 and the first win at War Memorial Stadium since 1996.

Stay tuned on Friday for the #3 moment of the 2013-14 Apprentice School Athletic Year.
