Sophomores Rule As Builders Top Briarcliffe 2-1 To Close Day One Of USCAA Small College World Series
Sophomores ruled the field on Monday night as sophomore Ryan Hendrickson drove in the go-ahead run as Apprentice School defeated Briarcliffe College 2-1 in the opening round of the USCAA Small College World Series. On the mound a combined effort from sophomores Ryland Edwards and Sam Massie gave the Builders win #33 on the year.

Football Falls 44-14 To Bridgewater On Trades Day/Homecoming
Sophomore Jodey McNeil ran for 122 yards and a touchdown and fellow sophomore Jonathan Whelan scored a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter as the Apprentice School lost 44-14 to Bridgewater College in front of nearly 3,500 at Apprentice Field Saturday.

The Apprentice School golf team had a tough round on Tuesday and finished fifth out of 11 teams in the Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial at Fords Colony-Marsh Hawk course.

Golf Team Leads Glenn Heath Memorial After Round One
With three golfers finishing in the top nine after round one, the Apprentice School shot a 316 on Monday to lead the Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial Tournament by four strokes heading into Tuesday’s final round at Fords Colony’s Marsh Hawk course.

Senior Josh Tuck went 3-for-4 and drove in four runs with three coming on a first inning home run as the Apprentice School defeated Briarcliffe College 8-4 in a U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association matchup on Sunday.

The Apprentice School baseball team took on its third nationally-ranked opponent this year facing NCAA Division III 16th-ranked Tufts University and lost a doubleheader on Saturday falling 4-3 and 6-4 in a school-record 17-inning game.
