HAMPTON, VA. -- Junior Jonathan Dehoux drove in four runs with
three hits while seniors Bryce Beale and J.D. Drewry had three hits
each as the Apprentice School defeated Rappahannock CC 9-3 on
Friday at War Memorial Stadium.
After trailing 1-0 heading into the third, the Builders broke it
open with two in the third, one in the fourth and three more in the
fifth. Dehoux drove in two of his four with a home run to
straight away center field. He also had a double in the game
to finish 3-for-5 with four RBIs.
Drewry was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a triple, while
Beale was 3-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI. Seniors Kyle
Center, Eric Polk and sophomore Ryan Wagner all had two hits in the
game.
Freshman Daniel Lutz earned the victory throwing 5.1 innings to
earn his first collegiate victory allowing two runs.
