Baseball Loses Twice To Indiana University-PA

HAMPTON, VA. -- The Apprentice School baseball team fell twice on Friday to NCAA Division II power Indiana University-PA 9-3 and 13-5 at War Memorial Stadium.

In game one, J.D. Drewry and Eric Polk had a pair of hits each as the Builders scored single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings.  Drewry's double scored the run in the third, while sophomore Andrew Yonta singled in a run in the fourth and a groundout from junior Jonathan Dehoux scored the run in the fifth.

In game two, the Builders scored three times in the first with Dehoux driving in a pair with a two-run home run which was followed by a Dory Fields blast to right field.  Dehoux and Kyle Center were 2-for-4 apiece in the second game for the Builders.

These teams will close out the four-game series with a noon contest on Saturday.
