Two-Run Ninth Lifts IUP Over Baseball Builders 4-3

HAMPTON, VA. - Kevin Stryker's two-out double in the ninth inning scored two runs to give visiting Indiana University PA a 4-3 victory over the Apprentice School to sweep a four-game series on Saturday.

Apprentice School trailed 2-0 in the eighth and scored three runs on a sacrifice fly from Jonathan Dehoux and run scoring singles from Bryce Beale and Ryan Wagner. In the ninth, the Builders got a pair of outs before Stryker's heroics put the guests ahead 4-3.

Wagner went 3-for-4 for Apprentice School (6-7), while Daniel Leftwich took the tough loss throwing 2.2 innings and striking out four.

The Builders face Johnson & Wales (R.I.) in a 1 pm single game at War Memorial on Sunday.
