Baseball Team Ranked #1 In USCAA Coaches Poll

 

NEWPORT NEWS, VA. - The Apprentice School baseball team moved up one spot and is now ranked number one in the latest U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.  This marks the first number one ranking for the Builder baseball team.

The Builders, winners of 15 of their last 18 games, have been ranked in the top five for the majority of the season and in the top three the last three weeks.

Apprentice School (22-11) returns to action on Friday in Murfreesboro, N.C. facing NCAA Division II Chowan University (22-13) in a 2 pm single game at Hawkins Field.  They will return to War Memorial Stadium on April 23 for a rematch with Chowan starting at 4 pm.
