Baseball Drops 3-1 Decision In Game Two To Danville CC

IN BRIEF: The Apprentice School dropped the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday falling 3-1 to Danville CC.

ON THE DIAMOND

  • The fourth inning saw all the action as the Knights pushed three runs across with two coming on a single from Bradley Tickle and the other on a Dylan Raymond base-hit.
  • Apprentice School scratched a run across in the home half of the inning as Adam Baldwin singled and later scored on a Lee Rossi single.

OF NOTE

  • Rossi, who ended the day with nine RBIs in the two-games, joined Baldwin and Jacob Countiss with singles for the Builders.
  • Freshman Mike Brumfield was the tough-luck loser in game two throwing five innings and striking out five while allowing six hits.  Senior Sam Massie threw the last two innings with three strikeouts.
