Builders Earn Fourth Seed At The USCAA Small College World Series May 15-18

EVENT: 2017 USCAA Small College World Series

LOCATION: East Field Park in Glens Falls, New York

DATES: May 15-18, 2017

The Apprentice School baseball team, seeded 4th, opens play on Monday, May 15th at 1:30 pm when they take on 5th seed Cleary University. Cleary University is located in Howell, Michigan and bring in a record of 19-27-1.  This will be a rematch from last year, where Cleary topped the Builders 10-2 to eliminate the Builders from the tournament.

The Builders finish the season with a 26-16 record, winning their last 7 of 8.  This will mark the 18th straight season the Builders baseball team has earned a bid to the USCAA Small College World Series.

The Apprentice School has a very strong history in this tournament having made it to the final day of the championship in ten of the last thirteen years dating back to 2004.  They've finished in the top three in nine of those, highlighted by winning the 2007 and 2015 USCAA National Championships.
