Sophomore Ryan Wagners one-out single in the bottom of the ninth inning scored junior Chris Baker with the winning run as The Apprentice School defeated University of Mary Washington 8-7 on Saturday afternoon at War Memorial Stadium.
The win over the Eagles was the first ever for the Builders as UMW had won the previous 13 games dating back to 1991.
