Apprentice School senior defensive back Tony Scott (Norfolk,
Va./Norview HS/Outside Machinist) was named on Monday as the
Atlantic Central Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week
for his performance in Saturday's 17-7 Apprentice School victory
over Frostburg State.

one blocked kick as the Builders held Frostburg State to 208

victory and gave him his 11th career interception to set
the modern-era career record. He shared it with Anthony
Watson who played from 1992-95. That was his second
interception this season.
His blocked punt in the fourth quarter was the 10th
of his career which set the school modern-era career record.
That was his second blocked punt of the season.
The Builders (1-1) are now off until September 22 when they
travel to Emory, Va. to face Emory & Henry College at 1 pm.
