Newport News, Va. - For the second straight year, the Apprentice
School was preseason picked third in the Atlantic Central Football
Conference in the poll announced today during the ACFC Media
Conference Call.
Wesley College was picked to win the conference in 2008 after
winning in 2007 and advancing to the NCAA South Regional
Finals. The Wolverines had five first place votes, with the
remainding three going to Salisbury University who was second in
the poll. Apprentice School was third followed by Frostburg State
University.
The Builders will open the 2008 season on September 6 against
NAIA power Malone College out of Canton, Ohio at 1 pm at Apprentice
Field.
