Jusdon McKee Named ACFC Rookie Of The Week
Freshman wide receiver Jusdon McKee (St. Helena Island, SC/Beaufort
HS/Rigger) was named Atlantic Central Football Conference Rookie of
the Week for his performance in Saturday's 47-38 Apprentice School
loss to Division II Lake Erie College.
McKee, a 6-foot-4, 170-pound wide receiver, had a career day as he had season highs in catches (7), yards (122) and tied a school record with three touchdowns in the contest.
Two of those catches came on the first scoring drive by the Builders as he and quarterback Phil Caralla converted fourth down situations. The last of those catches was the first touchdown covering 32 yards in the second quarter.
The Builders (1-4) return to ACFC action this Saturday traveling to Dover, Delaware to face 11th-ranked NCAA Division III power Wesley College in a 1:15 pm start.
