Apprentice School freshman linebacker Josh Lofton was named
Atlantic Central Football Conference Rookie of the Week for the
games of November 8.
Lofton (Atlanta, Ga./Mt. Zion), a rigger apprentice, had 10
tackles, two for a loss and a pass breakup in the Builders 20-7
loss to Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Md. For the season
he has 22 tackles, 4.5 for a loss and a pass breakup.
The Builders end their 2008 season on Saturday with the
59th annual Oyster Bowl game when they face Southern
Virginia University at home starting at 1 pm.
