Senior offensive lineman Mike Kinder was named on Friday to the All-State College Division team by the Roanoke Times newspaper.

Norwood, Ellis, Mason Named To VASID All-State College Division Football Teams
The Apprentice School football team earned three individual honors on Thursday as senior Teo Ellis and freshmen Louis Norwood and Thomas Mason were named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association All-State College Division teams. Also for the first time in the history of the program, they also earned one of the individual honors as Norwood was named the College Division Rookie Of The Year.

Mike Kinder Named To D3 Senior Football Classic All-Star Game
Apprentice School senior offensive lineman Mike Kinder was selected to participate in the inaugural Division III Football Senior Classic All-Star game. The all-star game will be held on Sat., Dec. 5 at Salem Stadium in Salem, Va., the site of the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl which is the championship game for NCAA Division III.

2009 All-ACFC Team
The Atlantic Central Football Conference office announced the 2009 All-ACFC teams on Thursday. The Apprentice School earned six first team selections, seven second team honors and the 2009 ACFC Rookie Of The Year. Those 16 honorees, including two honorable mention selections, were the most in the history of Builder football in the ACFC.

Football Ends Season In 14-10 Loss To Southern Virginia
The Apprentice School lost its season finale to in-state rival Southern Virginia 14-10 in the 60th annual Oyster Bowl game played at Apprentice Field on Saturday.

Apprentice Schools senior quarterback Phil Caralla and freshman kicker Nicholas Foor were honored by the Atlantic Central Football Conference on Monday as the Offensive Player of the Week and the Rookie of the Week respectively.
