Duckworth Named ACFC Special Teams Player Of The Week

Freshman Anthony Duckworth was named on Monday as the Atlantic Central Football Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the week for the week of September 26.

The New Orleans, La. native and pipefitter apprentice, had an 83-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter as the Builders eventually fell 49-30 to Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham.  Duckworth's return marked the second straight game he had a return for a touchdown as he ran a punt back for a score in the home opener victory over George Mason on September 19.

His 144 return yards marked the third highest single-game total since 1985 and his six returns tied for the third highest single-game total since 1985.

Apprentice School hits the road again on Saturday, October 3 when they travel to Salisbury, Md. for a 1 pm kickoff with the Sea Gulls.
