Mike Kinder Named First Team All-State College Division By Roanoke Times
Senior offensive lineman Mike Kinder was named on Friday to the All-State College Division team by the Roanoke Times newspaper. He became the ninth player since 2002 to be recognized by the Roanoke Times on its All-State teams.
Kinder is a two-time second team All-Atlantic Central Football Conference offensive lineman. The 6-foot-6, 340 pound native of Zanesville, Ohio and heavy metal fabricator apprentice, helped an offensive gain the second most yards in the last 10 years this season as the Builders averaged almost 283 yards per game.
He recently played in the inaugural D-III Senior Classic which showcased the top 90 seniors in NCAA Division III, representing the 238 NCAA Division III schools, with a North vs. South all-star game. Players were invited to play based on application and committee selection.
