Football Ends Season With 51-6 Loss At Webber International

LAKE WALES, FL – The Apprentice School closed out its season on Saturday with a 51-6 loss to Webber International at Legion Field.

Webber broke open a close game scoring 28 points in the second quarter as quarterback Chris Hart had a hand in three of those four.  Hart, a Towson University transfer, hit Jamal Rodman on a five-yard scoring pass and Roman Nelson on a five-yard scoring pass to sandwich a 13-yard run.  For the game he threw for 149 yards and four touchdowns in the game and ran for 61 yards and a pair of scores.

Apprentice School scored as freshman Charles Broadus broke off a 53-yard scoring run with 8:32 left in the game.  The extra-point failed making the score 42-6 at the time.  He ended the game with 68 yards rushing.

Sophomore Brock Bullock topped the defense for Apprentice School with eight tackles, while sophomore Corinthious Nathan added seven with two for a loss and a sack.
