Bullock Named To Capital One Academic All-District Team

Apprentice School senior linebacker Brock Bullock was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District College Division team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.   With being named to the first team, Bullock is now up for consideration to the Capital One Academic All-American team to be announced in early December.

The teams are divided into eight districts and are separated by NCAA Division I, II, III and College Division which includes NAIA schools, two-year schools and independents.  To be recognized you must have had at least a 3.3 grade point average and be a key contributor to their team.  Schools from Maine to Mississippi are included in College Division District One.

Bullock has had a senior season for the record books as he leads the U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association in tackles with an Apprentice School single-season record 125.  He has had six games of at least 14 tackles, including a school record 24 against Southern Virginia University on October 19.  Bullock is five tackles away from the career record of 295 held by Steve Sobczak from 1989-91.

The Builders will take on Webber International on Saturday at 1 pm in Babson Park, Florida.  They'll end their season on November 16 with a noon start against Ave Maria University.
