NOTES

BASEBALL
  • Baseball team went 0-3 last week falling to Mary Washington and a pair of game to Tufts.
  • Junior Eric Polk was the leading hitter in the week with a .625 batting average (5-of-8).  He had a pair of two-hit games against Tufts with a pair of runs scored and a double.
  • Sophomore James Denny was next in line going 5-for-12 for the week (.417).  He was 4-for-5 in the loss at Mary Washington on Tuesday.
  • Three players all hit .333 for the week: Jonathan Dehoux (4-for-12, one home run, five RBI), J.D. Drewry (3-for-9 with 3 runs scored) and Bryce Beale (3-for-9).
  • This week the Builders face Fulton-Montgomery College from New York.  Last year the Builders swept a doubleheader 14-7 and 16-2 from Fulton.

 

GOLF
  • The Builders played a tournament in California for the first time in school history and they finished 11th in the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen Invitational.
  • Senior BJ Maben was the low scorer for the Builders tied for 22nd with a three-round total of 239. Next low was junior Chris Everett with a 252 for 49th place.
  • The team is scheduled to have a home dual match on Friday at Kiln Creek starting at 1 pm.
