Athletic Staff On Newport News Public Schools TV
For fans of Builder athletics in Newport News, you'll have plenty of chances to see athletic staff members on Newport News Public Schools TV over the next month.
Friday night's high school football telecast of Warwick vs. Heritage will have a pair of special guests in the third quarter. Head Football Coach Michael Vite and Sports Information Director Jim Heath will be interviewed by play-by-play announcer Greg Bicouvaris about the remainder of the football schedule along with the upcoming winter sports season. Game time is 7 pm, with the interviews starting approximately 7:45 pm. The replay of the game will be on Tuesday night, October 28 at 6:30 pm.
Apprentice School Head Women's Basketball Coach Lanica Williams has been on Newport News Sports Highlights for its October show talking about her roots in the Newport News area and promoting the upcoming women's basketball season. You still have opportunities to catch her on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Starting in November, Athletic Director Keisha Pexton will be one of the guests on the show discussing her background with The Apprentice School and talking about her first few months as athletic director.
