Builders Finish 11th In VaSID All-Sports Survey
The Apprentice School athletic teams won 54.9% of their contests in the 2009-10 season and finished 11th in the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association College Division All-Sports Survey.

Six Apprentice School Athletes Named To Virginia Sports Info. Directors Association Academic All-State Team
Six Apprentice School athletes were named on Friday to the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association Academic All-State team. Each Virginia institution, including NCAA Division I, II, and III, NAIA, and independents, had the opportunity to submit athletes to be honored. To be eligible, student-athletes were required to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better. The student must have achieved sophomore status, and he or she could not have been in the first season of competition at their current school.

In honor of the upcoming 90th anniversary of Apprentice School athletics, the athletic department is soliciting nominations for an All-90th year Apprentice School Football Team. Nominations are due to Sports Information Director Jim Heath by July 15.
