LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - Junior Fred Spratley scored 14 points
to lead four Builders in double figures as the Apprentice School
lost 87-85 in overtime to Lincoln University on Saturday afternoon.
The Builders trailed 33-27 at half, but outscored the hosts
52-46 in the second half to tie the game at 79-all after
regulation. These teams were tied 11 times and went through
13 lead changes before the Lions used a pair of LaDaye Johnson foul
shots for the winning margin.
Sophomore Antione Paige added 13 points, junior Jason Smith had
12 points and senior Nolan Thompson added 11 for the Builders who
hit 34-of-75 from the field (45.3%).
These teams will meet again next Saturday at Apprentice School
in a 4 pm tipoff.
