AUBURN, MAINE - Sophomore Jason Arrington scored 22 points to
lead five Builders in double figures as the Apprentice School
outscored Maine-Fort Kent 60-26 in the second half en route to a
96-67 victory in Auburn, Maine on Sunday afternoon.
The Builders (5-3) ended their three-game swing in Maine with
their highest scoring half of the season and second highest scoring
game of the year. Juniors Fred Spratley and Eric Ruffin added
16 and 13 points respectively, while sophomore Eric Joe and junior
Stanford Johnson added 11 apiece. That marked the
fourth game in the first eight for the Builders that Arrington
scored 22 points.
Apprentice School now will visit Averett University on Wednesday
for a 6 pm rematch in Danville, Va.. The Builders defeated
Averett 74-73 on November 25 in Newport News.
