The Builders open their 2015-16 season playing in the Bob Jones University (SC) Tournament on November 13-14. The team will play Columbia University on the 13th at 5 pm and will play the hosts at 4 pm the following day.
The team then travels to Charlotte, N.C. to participate in the John C. Smith University Tournament. The Apprentice School will play the hosts on November 20, with tipoff set for 7:30 pm, and will play Livingstone College (NC) at 2 pm the following day. The Builders will then close out the month with their first home game of the season, a 1 pm meeting with Southern Virginia University on November 28.
Virginia University of Lynchburg comes to Newport News to kick off December (Dec. 2/7 pm). The Builders will then head up to Pennsylvania to take on Valley Forge Military College (Dec. 5/3 pm) and will stop in Washington, D.C. on the return trip for a game at the University of the District of Columbia (Dec. 6/2 pm). The team will then conclude the month at the King's College Classic in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on December 11-12. The Classic will also feature Susquehanna University (PA) and Trinity College (CT).
The Builders start the 2016 portion of their schedule in Concord, N.C for a 1 pm January 10 game at Barber-Scotia College. The team then returns home to host the Martin Luther King Classic with games against Florida National (Jan. 15/8 pm) and Williamson (Jan. 17/2 pm).
The team welcomes Florida College (Jan.22/8 pm), Southern State CC (Jan. 23/1 pm), and Berkeley College (Jan. 24/1 pm) for a three-game home stand before traveling to Temple Terrace, Florida for the Florida College Sun Coast Classic on January 28-29. The Builders will take on the hosts for a 6 pm game to start the Classic and will play Florida National at 6 pm the following day.
Mid-Atlantic Christian Univeristy (NC) will visit the Apprentice School to start February play (Feb. 2/6 pm). The Builders are then on the road for four games, beginning with Virginia State Univeristy (Feb. 6/4 pm). The team is then at Mid-Atlantic Christian (Feb. 10/6 pm) and wraps up the away trip with Williamson (Feb. 13/1 pm) and Washington Adventist (Feb. 14/4 pm).
The Builders conclude their regular season with a pair of home games. Barber-Scotia will visit on February 16 for a scheduled 6 pm start and Washington Adventist will come down on February 23 for a 6 pm contest.
This year's USCAA Men's Division I National Championships will be held again in Uniontown, PA on March 3-7.
