Builders tie for eighth in Tom Kinder Memorial

HARRISONBURG, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team finished tied for eighth in the 13-team Tom Kinder Memorial Tournament hosted by Bridgewater College at Lakeview Golf course in Harrisonburg.

Senior BJ Maben was the low man for the tournament for the Builders with a second-day 75 for a two-day total of 151 which put him tied for eighth place overall. Next in line for the Builders was junior Chris Everett with a 77 on Sunday for a 157 total.

Host Bridgewater College won the event with a 299 on Sunday for a two-day total of 587. Randolph-Macon College was second 17 shots behind that.

Apprentice School will host its Builder Fall Invitational on Friday at The Hamptons with Shenandoah University and Southern Virginia University.
