LEXINGTON, VA. - The Apprentice School shot a second-day 311 and
finished third out of seven teams in the Southern Virginia
University Fall Invitational held at Lexington Country Club on
Tuesday.
Senior BJ Maben shot his second consecutive 72 and finished
second place individually. Junior Chris Everett shot a 75 on
Tuesday and was in a tie for sixth place in the event.
Shenandoah University shot a 296 total on Tuesday and won the
tournament by 18 strokes over Lynchburg College-White who overtook
the Builders on Tuesday with a 308 round and a 617 total.
The Apprentice School will close out the fall season with the
Virginia Intercollegiate Championships on Sunday and Monday at
Nansemond River Golf Course in Suffolk.
