SUFFOLK, VA. - The Apprentice School cut nine strokes off its
first round score on Monday and improved one slot to finish tied
for eighth in the 2007 Virginia Intercollegiate Championships at
Nansemond River Golf Club.
The Builders shot a 310 on Monday to finish with a 629 total
tying Randolph-Macon College's B team. Bridgewater College
shot an even-par-288 on Monday to finish with a 579 total and the
title by three shots over Hampden-Sydney College.
Senior BJ Maben paced the Builders with a 74 on Monday to finish
in eighth place with a 146 total. Junior Brandon Rudisill was
next for the Builders with a 76 and a total of 153 to finish
24th.
