The Apprentice School golf team chopped five strokes off its first round score, but still stayed in sixth place after the final round of the Wesley Sheraton Invitational at Wild Quail Country Club on Monday. Apprentice School followed its 346 on Sunday with a 341 on Monday for a two-day total of 687.

Averett University edged the host Lynchburg College Red team 617-618 for the team title with the Builders coming in sixth with a 683.
