Golf Team Takes Second In Builder Spring Invitational

 

SUFFOLK, VA. - The Apprentice School golf team finished second on Friday in its Builder Spring Invitational held at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.

The Builders shot a 360 total to be edged out by five strokes by Virginia Wesleyan College, while Chowan University came in third with a 380 total.

Virginia Wesleyan's Trae Kresinske was the medalist with a five-over-par 77, while Apprentice School sophomore Daniel Campbell was second with an 82 and senior Steven Ness was third with an 87.

Next up for the golf team will be the Lynchburg Invitational on March 15-16.
