Golf Team Sits Sixth After Round One Of Lynchburg Invitational

LYNCHBURG, VA. - The Apprentice School golf team currently sits sixth out of eight teams through day one of the Lynchburg Hornet Invitational held at London Downs Golf Course.

Senior Steven Ness leads the team after day one with an eight-over-par 80 while sophomore Daniel Campbell is next with an 81.  Those two are just outside the top ten individually through a rain-soaked round one.  Nick Carlson was next with a 90, followed by Ryan Sweet with a 94 and Kyle Radcliff with a 96.

Lynchburg Red leads the tournament with a 304, followed by Averett scoring a 314.  The tournament will conclude with the final round on Monday morning at 10:30 am.
