Builders Finish Sixth In Lynchburg Invitational

LYNCHBURG, VA. - The Apprentice School golf team improved seven shots on its second round Monday with a 338 to finish sixth in the Lynchburg Hornet Invitational held at London Downs Golf Course.  Averett University edged the host Lynchburg College Red team 617-618 for the team title with the Builders coming in sixth with a 683.

Senior Steven Ness was the low man for the Builders in the tournament with an 83 on Monday for a two-day total of 163 to finish 14th.  Sophomore Daniel Campbell matched Ness on Monday with an 83 to finish in 15th place with a 164 total.  The course started very chilly in Lynchburg and the round ended for the Builders in a rainstorm.

Next up for the Builders will be the Wesley College Invitational on March 22-23.
