CAMDEN, DEL. - The Apprentice School golf team chopped five
strokes off its first round score, but still stayed in sixth place
after the final round of the Wesley Sheraton Invitational at Wild
Quail Country Club on Monday. Apprentice School followed its
346 on Sunday with a 341 on Monday for a two-day total of 687.
Rutgers Camden held onto its first round lead and won the
tournament with a two-day total of 631, followed by West Chester
(658) and Wesley College (672).
Senior Steven Ness finished in a tie for 12th
individually with a 166 tournament total after an 85 on Monday.
Sophomores Daniel Campbell and Ryan Sweet were tied for
17th with 173 totals after Campbell fired an 84 on
Monday and Sweet carded an 85.
Next up for the Builders will be the Builder Spring Fling on
Friday at The Woodlands in Hampton.
