Golf Team Sits Seventh After Round One Of Glenn Heath Memorial Shipbuilders Tournament
WILLIAMSBURG, VA. - The Apprentice School golf team currently sits seventh after round one of the Glenn Heath Memorial Shipbuilders Tournament held at the Marsh Hawk course at Fords Colony on Monday.
Sophomore Daniel Campbell is the low man for the Builders with an 80 to be tied for 12th place out of 45 entries. Fellow sophomore Ryan Sweet is the next lowest for the Builders in a tie for 29th with an 86.
Randolph-Macon College leads the event with a 307, followed by Pitt Community College with a 312 and Lynchburg College with a 313 while Apprentice School shot a 368.
The final round of the tournament is Tuesday morning with an 8 am tee-time on the 6,650 yard Marsh Hawk Course.
