Golf Team Takes Third In Final Spring Event

YANCEYVILLE, NC - The Apprentice School golf team closed out the 2008-09 season on Friday with a third place finish in the Danville Community College Invitational held at Caswell Pines Golf Course.

Host Danville Community College took first and second place in the event with their A team shooting a 326, while its B team finished with a 330.  The Builders shot 351 as a team to finish two shots ahead of Germania CC with a 353.

Sophomore Daniel Campbell took top honors for the Builders with a nine-over-par 81 to finish fourth in the event.
