Results of 2010 Apprentice Athletic Club Golf Tournament
Many thanks to all who participated on June 11 in the 2010 Apprentice Athletic Club Golf Tournament held at Cypress Creek Golf Course in Smithfield.
Over 100 entries enjoyed a beautiful Friday and a good time to support the Apprentice School athletic department.
The tournament ended in a tie with two teams tied at 59. Dan Morris, Jeff Morris, Rich Coleman and Geoff Clark took the title on the second hole of a tiebreaker with a birdie. Finishing second were E.C. Byrd, Scott Jones, Ryan Scott and Billy Wright who went birdie, par on the playoff holes. Taking third place were Steve Collier, Melvin Heath, David Scarlett and John Morin.
Winning the closest to the pin awards were Jen Howard for the women (on hole #5) and Danny Reid for the men (on hole #13). The women's longest drive winner was Mary Cullen (hole #14) and Cary Ray won the men's longest drive honor (hole #18).
