PAR/YARDS: 72/6,664

IN BRIEF: The Apprentice School golf team opened its spring schedule on Saturday with a second place finish in the first of two events in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

  • Perry Barber was the low man for the team total on Saturday with an 89 to finish tied for ninth place overall.  Chris Davis and Tim Moore were next with 92 and Philip Nelson shot a 95 for the team total of 368.
  • Competing as an individual, Toby Tapman was the low man for the day for the Builders as he shot an 81 to finish alone in third place.

The same four teams will compete on Sunday morning at 9 am in the final event of the Myrtle Beach Weekend openers.
