Golfers Fall In Season Opening Dual Match At SUNY Delhi

IN BRIEF: The Apprentice School golf team opened its 2015-16 season on Saturday falling in the first of two dual matches this weekend with SUNY Delhi.

ON THE COURSE

  • Sophomore Phillip Nelson was the low man for the Builders today coming in tied for fourth overall with a three-over-par 75.
  • Freshman Travis Weaver started himself off quite nicely coming in sixth with a four-over-par 76 to lead Apprentice School B.
  • Sophomore Perry Barber was next for the Builders coming in a tie for seventh with a six-over 78.
  • Rounding out the top five for the Apprentice School teams were sophomore Will Hunter (9th/80) and senior Chris Davis (T10th/81).

FOR SUNY DELHI

The medalist in the match was Eric Walling who came in with a two-under-par 70.  Ray Schott was three strokes behind him with a 73, while Adam Brickle came in at 74 for the Broncos.
