Builder Golf Opens Its 2016 Fall Season On August 27th At SUNY Delhi

2016 Apprentice School Fall Golf Season Begins

The 2016 Apprentice School golf season begins on August 27th, as the Builders travel to Delhi, New York for a match against SUNY Delhi.  The Fall 2016 Golf Schedule also has the Builders competing in the Bridgewater and Shenandoah Invitationals, as well as the USCAA Nationals at Penn State College.  For the first time, The Apprentice School will host the VSGA Division III State Championship at Williamsburg Club in October.

The Builders have five returners that include Sophomore Dylan Hogge, Juniors Perry Barber and Phillip Nelson, and Seniors William Hunter and Toby Tapman.  Two freshman, Jordan Plogger, the VA 2A State Champion from Staunton, VA and Ryan Fischer, from Suffolk, VA, join the builders this fall.

"This season shows a lot of promise, we have recruited our first high school state champion, Jordan Plogger, from Robert E. Lee Hight and former number one player for Nansemond River High, Ryan Fischer.  Junior, Perry Barber Jr., has improved each year and will be returning.  Coach BJ Maben and myself have challenged the team to have our best season to date." says Coach Joey Maben about the upcoming season.
