Athletic Training Clinic
Upon entering the Apprentice School Gymnasium, the Athletic Training Clinic is located in the front, left corner of the gym across from the bleachers. The clinic will be open 2 hours before the start of all home competitions. Water, ice and water bottles will be set-up for visiting team use during contests.
Visiting teams traveling without a certified athletic trainer will be permitted to use ice and hydrocollator packs within the clinic. A visiting certified athletic trainer can utilize ultrasound, electrical stimulation and whirlpool for treatments as needed. Athletic training students must provide a signed prescription from a physician and/or certified athletic trainer prior to modality use. The Apprentice School Sports Medicine staff will not administer ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or whirlpool to visiting student-athletes due to time constraints.
All visiting teams traveling without a certified athletic trainer or athletic training students must provide their own taping supplies. Emergency supplies including crutches, splints, and an AED are also available.
