Men's basketball senior Termaine Totten and women's basketball
sophomore Rahshann Lewter were named to the All-State College
Division basketball teams announced today by the Virginia Sports
Information Directors Association.
Totten, a pipefitter apprentice from Greensboro, NC, was named
to the second team. He had a spectacular season averaging 20 points
per game finishing second in the US Collegiate Athletic Association
in scoring. Totten had seven games of 25 or more points scored,
including 30 against Greensboro College and 39 at Southern
Virginia. He was a first team USCAA All-American selection this
year.
Lewter, a maintenance electrician apprentice from Hampton, Va.,
was an honorable mention selection. The sophomore guard paced the
Lady Builders in scoring averaging 11.1 points per game along with
almost four assists and over three steals per game. She was a first
team USCAA All-American selection for the second straight year and
was a second team All-State selection as a freshman.
