LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - Junior Serina Brandon scored a
season-high 17 points in leading three Lady Builders in double
figures but it wasn't enough as host Lincoln University defeated
Apprentice School 77-66 on Saturday.
The hosts held a lead throughout the game, racing out to a 7-0
lead in the first three minutes. Lincoln used a devastating
offensive rebounding advantage (32-16) and forced 23 turnovers to
gain a 44 shot advantage (96-52) over the Lady Builders.
Freshmen Jasmine Gerald and Valleri West added 16 and 14 points
apiece for Apprentice School (7-9) who now travels to Briarcliffe
College in Long Island, NY on Sunday for a 1 pm matchup.
These teams will tangle again next Saturday at Apprentice School
starting at 2 pm.
