FLORENCE, S.C. -- Junior Rahshann Lewter scored a season-high 15
points while freshman Shade Blow had 11 points and 10 rebounds
coming off the bench as the Apprentice School lost 115-52 on
Saturday night at Division II Francis Marion University.
The homestanding Patriots forced 44 turnovers in the game and
never trailed. Apprentice School trailed 8-6 with 15:32 left
on a pair of Natasha Jones free throws. Francis Marion
responded with a 22-5 run over the next 7:10 for a 30-11 advantage
on a Jennifer Dyer layup with 8:22 left. In the second half,
the lead never was below 40 points.
Apprentice School closes out this roadtrip with a 1 pm matchup
on Sunday at UNC Pembroke.
