Rahshann Lewter Named Second Team All-State By VaSID

Apprentice School women's basketball senior Rahshann Lewter was named on Tuesday to the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association All-State College Division Second Team.

This team consisted of players from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA schools in the state.  It made the second All-State honor for Lewter this off-season as she was named to the Honorable Mention All-State College Division team by the Richmond Times-Dispatch in March.

Lewter finished her career as a three-time USCAA All-American and a three-time USCAA All-Academic team honoree.  The Hampton High School graduate finished as the school career assist leader (476), second in steals (293), and fourth in career points (1,232).  She ended her career with a triple-double in a USCAA National Tournament loss to Robert Morris-Springfield with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
