Wrestlers Receive Resolution Of Recognition From Newport News City Council

The wrestling team received another honor on Tuesday night as they were presented a resolution of recognition from the City of Newport News and the Newport News City Council.

Newport News Mayor Joe Frank (left on picture) presented the resolution to Apprentice School Head Coach Bruce Shumaker (center) and Assistant Coach Matt Butler (right) prior to the start of the council meeting on Tuesday.

The 2009-10 wrestling season will open on Halloween day as the team will participate in the University of Scranton Duals.
