Two Builders Place At UNC Pembroke Classic

 

PEMBROKE, NC - The Apprentice School wrestling team traveled to Pembroke, N.C. to participate in the UNC Pembroke Classic on Saturday and had one of its better showings in the last few years with two freshmen placing in the top six in their respective classes.

Marcus Chevres was 3-2 at 125 pounds to take fourth place with one win by fall.  Fellow freshman Charles Mills was 2-1 at 174 pounds to take seventh.

Three other wrestlers had standout performances in the always tough event.  Freshman Will Harcum was 5-1 with four wins by fall at 165 pounds, sophomore Ty Holley was 3-2 at 133 pounds and heavyweight Cecil Lee was 3-1 with a win by fall.

The wrestling team will next participate in the York College (PA) Spartan Invitational on December 6.
