Wrestlers Equal School Record For Wins With A Pair In Builder Duals

 

NEWPORT NEWS, VA. - The Apprentice School wrestling team competed in its home gym for the first time this season and won a pair of bouts in the Builder Duals on Friday night.

They opened with a 54-3 win over Radford and scored a 63-0 victory over Virginia Tech to raise their record to 12-4 on the season.  The 12 wins equals the most dual match wins in the last 10 years as the 2002-03 team went 12-6.

Apprentice School will return to the home mats on Saturday morning for the 30th annual Builder Invitational starting at 9 am in the Apprentice Athletic Center.
