Matt Perry Named To USCAA All-Academic Team

Senior wrestler Matt Perry was named on Friday to the 2010 US Collegiate Athletic Association Winter All-Academic team.

Perry, a Chesapeake, Va. native and an electrician apprentice, was honored for having at least a 3.5 grade point average in a sport not-sponsored by the USCAA.  He finished his career with 110 wins to rank second in school history and took his third National Collegiate Wrestling Association All-American honor by finishing third at 157 pounds in the nationals completed last month.
