The Apprentice School wrestling team will face American College Division third-seeded York College (PA) at 11 am on Friday in the opening round of 31st annual Virginia Duals. York College (8-1-1) is currently ranked #18 in NCAA Division III and have won their last six dual matches in a row.
Apprentice School (10-3) has not wrestled since December 11 when they won the UMBC Retreiver Duals with a 5-1 record on the day.
With a win against York, the Builders will wrestle at 2 pm on Saturday against the winner of Johns Hopkins-Nassau CC. A loss against York will put the Builders in a 1 pm match on Friday against the loser of Johns Hopkins-Nassau CC.
The Builders have wrestled York College before as the Spartans have won three of the four previous meetings. Apprentice School defeated York College 24-20 during the 2006-07 season when the Spartans were ranked 14th in NCAA Division III.
