WILLIAMSPORT, PA. – The Apprentice School wrestling team opened its dual match season on Friday night recording a fall and a forfeit win in the last two bouts with Penn College to take a 31-21 win.

With wins in the first two bouts, the Builders took a 10-0 lead as Jacob Michael scored a major decision at 125 and Dwayne Roes won by forfeit.  Consecutive wins by Phillip Poto (165) and Justin Martz (174) got the Builders up 19-15, but decision victories for Penn College at 184 by Alex Muller and 197 by Logan Gresock gave the hosts a 21-19 advantage.

Kevin Gray put the Builders back up 25-21 after scoring a win by fall at 235 pounds in 69 seconds.  A forfeit win by Ian Jones at heavyweight provided the final margin.
