IN BRIEF: Ty Boyd (125), Jacob Michael (133), and Aaron Bright (141) went 3-0 to advance to the quarterfinals after day one of the 2016 National Collegiate Wrestling Association National Championships on Thursday.

After day one, the Builders sit in 6th place out of 100 teams in the tournament with 51 points.  Grand Valley State sits in first with 82.5 points, followed by Central Florida with 80.5 points and Emmanuel College with 73 points.
